Wex Photo Video has topped the 2019 Which? consumer survey for Best Online Shops, which rates the most popular stores based on customer buying experience, value for money and product range. In the Appliances & Electricals category, Wex Photo Video achieved an impressive 95% score, ahead of all other photographic and technology retailers in the UK, including John Lewis and AO.com.

In the overall survey covering all retail categories, Wex Photo Video jointly secured the number one spot with a well-known beauty retailer and an electrical store, all scoring 93%. This is the second consecutive year that Wex Photo Video has led the Which? league table and been awarded the prestigious Which? Recommended Provider for Appliances and Electrical accolade.

Which? asked its subscribers to rate the most popular online shops, relating to experiences they have had in the past six months. Those surveyed were also asked to evaluate websites for their experiences buying particular items and to consider a variety of factors including price, breadth of product range, deliveries, product quality and the returns process.

The Which? editorial team stated, “With a customer score of 95% – the highest score across all the categories – wexphotovideo.com keeps its customers very happy indeed.”

Louis Wahl, Chief Executive Officer at Wex Photo Video, commented, “We made a number of changes to our customer service operations in 2019, further optimising our purchasing experience online, by phone and in-store. These include the introduction of a real-time stock location and reservation system, which has made the purchase journey even smoother and easier than before. We also began offering new product workshop sessions, where owners receive a complimentary tailored, hands-on overview of their camera with a Wex expert, plus practical advice on photographic or filmmaking techniques. These improvements, combined with the continuous commitment and expertise of our employees, have served to deliver another year of standout service. We are proud to be honoured once again as a Which? Recommended Provider in recognition of our team’s dedication to providing customers with an experience that is second to none in the industry.”
