Lighting You Can See: Creative Portrait Photography Using Continuous Light is all about experimenting, understanding how light behaves and discovering how even a small light source can make a big difference to your images.

One of the great advantages of continuous light is that you can see exactly what it’s doing. You can watch shadows form, adjust the direction of the light and see how changes in colour and intensity affect the mood of your portrait.

During this practical evening, Paul will explore a variety of light sources, including LED panels, LED tubes, spotlights, torches and perhaps even a household lamp or two.

You’ll look at how to control light through direction and feathering, how colour can change the feel of an image, and how to create different effects without needing a complicated or expensive lighting setup.

Whether you’re already using continuous lighting or simply curious to try something different, this relaxed session is an opportunity to experiment, pick up new ideas and develop your confidence.

As always, the emphasis is on practical demonstrations, creative exploration and enjoying your photography.
