SIRUI launches BH-60 hybrid tripod head for photography and video

SIRUI has introduced the BH-60, a hybrid tripod head designed to combine the flexibility of a ball head for still photography with controlled panning and tilting for video.
The new head aims to simplify equipment setups for photographers and content creators who regularly switch between stills and video, removing the need to carry separate heads for each discipline.
Weighing 950g, the BH-60 features a 60mm ball and a mode selector ring that allows users to switch between three settings: full-motion for photography, a neutral position for controlled repositioning, and limited-motion for video.
In photography mode, the head offers unrestricted ball movement, allowing photographers to adjust compositions quickly for subjects including landscapes, wildlife and portraits. Once locked, it supports a static load of up to 20kg, according to SIRUI.
For video recording, the head provides 360-degree panning and up to 40 degrees of tilt in either direction. Mechanical stops prevent unwanted roll, while a built-in counterbalance system rated at 5kg is designed to help maintain control when moving the camera. Pan and tilt drag are fixed rather than adjustable.
The BH-60 also includes a 23cm removable control handle, a 360-degree panning base with graduated markings for panoramic photography, and an Arca-Swiss-compatible quick-release system with a lever lock and additional safety button.
Constructed from aluminium alloy, the head uses an all-mechanical damping system without damping oil. Other features include a built-in bubble level, a magnetic hex key and a 3/8-inch mounting thread, with a 1/4-inch adapter supplied.
The BH-60 is intended for photographers and hybrid creators looking to reduce the amount of equipment they carry while retaining dedicated controls for both still photography and video work.
Pre-orders opened on 15 October 2026, with general sales scheduled to begin on 20 October through the SIRUI online store. UK pricing and availability should be confirmed with the manufacturer.
