February 2016 Photographic Competitions – Open to both members and non-members alike
The Societies of Photographers are pleased to launch February’s Photographic Competitions.
We would like to thank all those who have previously entered The Societies’ monthly photographic competitions. This month we launch another five competitions for you to enter and we look forward to seeing more stunning images.
Entries are invited from everyone who is interested in photography.
This month we are looking for images depicting amazing place on our planet, whether it be bustling cityscapes or tranquil hideaways. Anything that shows the emphasis of travel.
This month we are looking for macro shots of life of Earth, whether it be a pond dwelling insects or beautiful fauna and flora.
We are looking for great technique and excellence of photography so remember to submit images with good lighting, exposure and compositional elements.
Finally presentation can give your images that finishing touch so consider putting a border around the image and use a post-production to give your images that little extra.

Classical Nude Photography Competition
We are looking for images that catch the essence of beauty of the chosen subject.
Automotive Action Photography Competition
This competition is ‘Automotive Action’ we are looking for high-octane, fast paced and daring images that depict the speed and ferocity of the motorsports world.
Anything from music concerts to equestrian shows, through to gala’s or anything that shows the event.
