Tenba are delighted to announce the new DNA v2 Shoulder Bag collection, a vintage-inspired restyling, creating a modern classic. Taking its cue from the exploding interest in film photography, and the enduring appeal of classically styled cameras such as the Fujifilm X series, Leica M and Q, and Nikon Zf, the DNA v2 collection pairs a timeless, understated silhouette with the professional-grade features, weather protection and organisation that photographers and content creators expect today. With prices starting at £140, DNA v2 makes heritage style an accessible choice rather than a luxury one.
The vintage look is no borrowed aesthetic. Tenba was founded in New York in 1977, and the design team drew on the company’s own classic bag designs to rebuild the collection “from the strap up”. The result keeps the look photographers already know and love, while updating nearly everything underneath it. Soft, brushed twill fabric and advanced polymer zipss that look like metal give DNA v2 the feel of a personal accessory rather than a piece of tactical black-nylon kit, and unlike metal hardware, those polymer zips will never scratch a camera or lens.
Unlike true vintage cotton canvas bags, which absorb water like a sponge, DNA v2 is made from a brushed polyester twill with a durable water-repellent finish on the face and a double PU coating on the reverse. Every exterior opening is protected by YKK’s latest water-repellent zips, and a silver/black reversible rain cover is included for the wettest of days. As with all Tenba bags, DNA v2 is made with entirely PFAS-free fabrics, hardware and coatings.
For freelancers, content creators and anyone working on the move, DNA v2 is one bag for both camera and laptop. Depending on size, a padded rear pocket holds anything from an 11-inch iPad Pro to a 16-inch MacBook Pro, accessible without opening the camera compartment, while a hidden neoprene sleeve secures an Apple AirTag or Tile tracker so you can always find your bag.

The DNA v2 Shoulder Bag collection launches in four sizes, each available in black or blue colourways:

- DNA v2 Shoulder Bag 14 – fits a mirrorless or DSLR camera with 3–5 lenses up to an unattached 70-200mm f/2.8, plus a laptop up to 14 inches.
- DNA v2 Shoulder Bag 16 – fits a mirrorless or DSLR camera with 3–5 lenses up to an attached 70-200mm f/2.8, plus a laptop up to 16 inches.
