Fashion Photography Competition 2026 – Celebrate Style, Creativity & Visual Storytelling

Fashion Photography Competition 2026

Celebrate style. Create something unforgettable.

The Fashion Photography Competition 2026 celebrates the creativity, style and visual storytelling that make great fashion photography so compelling.

We’re looking for striking photographs that showcase fashion, clothing, styling, beauty, models and creative concepts – from sophisticated editorial photography and polished studio shoots to bold street style and imaginative fashion portraits.

Whether you’re an experienced fashion photographer, a portrait photographer experimenting with fashion concepts, or simply have a photograph that deserves to be seen, this competition is an opportunity to showcase your creative vision.

And with entry costing just £1 per image, you can enter as many photographs as you like.

Bring Fashion to Life Through Photography

Fashion photography is about much more than clothing.

The strongest fashion images bring together styling, lighting, location, posing, composition and atmosphere to create a memorable visual statement.

A great fashion photograph can communicate an entire idea in a single frame.

It might be the sophistication of an editorial shoot, the energy of street style, the character of a model or an imaginative concept that challenges the viewer.

We’re looking for photographs that demonstrate creativity, technical excellence and a distinctive photographic vision.

What Are We Looking For?

Your interpretation of fashion is entirely up to you. Here are some ideas to inspire your entry.

Editorial Fashion

Create sophisticated fashion stories inspired by magazines, campaigns and contemporary editorial photography.

Think about the complete visual concept and how the styling, model, location, lighting and composition work together to create a cohesive image.

Creative Concepts

Push your imagination further.

Unusual concepts, imaginative styling, bold compositions, dramatic lighting and unexpected ideas can all help create fashion photography that stands out.

Don’t be afraid to experiment.

Fashion Portraits

Fashion and portrait photography can work beautifully together.

Showcase personality, character and style through powerful portraits where the model, clothing, expression and environment all contribute to the final image.

Studio Style

The studio gives you complete control over your environment.

Experiment with lighting, backgrounds, posing, styling and composition to create polished and professional fashion imagery.

Street Style

Fashion doesn’t only happen in the studio.

Take your camera outside and capture distinctive outfits, personalities, locations and spontaneous moments with a strong sense of style.

The real world can provide an exciting backdrop for fashion photography.

Think Creatively

Look for ways to make your photograph different.

Experiment with perspective, movement, colour, texture, reflections, shadows and unconventional compositions.

The best fashion photographs don’t necessarily follow the rules.

They create their own visual language.

What Makes a Strong Fashion Photograph?

When preparing your entries, think about what makes the image memorable.

Styling: Does the clothing and overall styling support the concept?

Lighting: Does the light enhance the mood, model and fashion?

Composition: Is there a strong visual structure that draws the viewer into the photograph?

Expression and posing: Do the model’s pose and expression contribute to the story?

Location: Does the environment add something meaningful to the image?

Concept: Is there an idea behind the photograph that makes it more than simply a picture of someone wearing clothes?

Ultimately, we’re looking for images with impact, creativity and a clear photographic vision.
