Insta360 Unveils X6: The Biggest Leap in 360 Capture Yet

Insta360 has announced the X6, its new flagship 360° camera, designed to combine the capabilities of a 360 camera, action camera and subject-tracking camera in a single compact body.

The X6 features dual Sony 1/1.1-inch-equivalent sensors, delivering improved low-light performance and image quality, alongside 8K video recording at up to 50fps. It is also the first 360° camera from Insta360 to feature native Dolby Vision, with 10-bit colour for greater detail and dynamic range.

New AI-powered features can automatically analyse footage and create highlight edits, while the camera can also switch to single-lens shooting for 5K 60fps wide-angle video. The X6 includes a 2.32-inch OLED display, improved battery life and waterproofing to 20m without a case.

Available from 12 August 2026, the Insta360 X6 starts at US$699.99.
