Fujifilm Introduces New Silver Finish for instax mini 99™

Fujifilm has announced a new Silver edition of its premium instax mini 99™ instant camera, adding a stylish new colour option to its flagship analogue instant photography range.
Available from 30 July 2026, the new matte silver finish retains all of the creative features that have made the instax mini 99 popular with photographers, while offering a refined, camera-inspired appearance with silver detailing around the lens and control dials.
Originally launched in 2024, the instax mini 99 is designed for users who enjoy creative control when shooting on instant film. Unlike many instant cameras, it offers a range of analogue image effects created directly in-camera, without digital filters or editing.
Among its standout features is Colour Effect Control, which uses internal LEDs to expose the film with different coloured light, allowing photographers to choose from six distinct colour styles, alongside a standard setting. The camera also includes Vignette Mode, which darkens the edges of the frame for a more dramatic, cinematic look, while Brightness Control enables further creative adjustment to each shot.
The camera continues to feature a premium leather-effect textured body, removable rechargeable battery capable of producing around 100 prints per charge, and a supplied grip with tripod thread, making it well suited to travel, events and self-portraits.
The addition of the new Silver model joins the existing Black version, giving photographers a choice of two distinctive finishes while retaining the same creative capabilities.
Fujifilm says the new finish reflects the company’s commitment to expanding the appeal of the instax system, which now spans analogue instant cameras, hybrid digital models, smartphone printers and compact digital cameras, and is available in more than 100 countries worldwide.
