Panasonic Expands LUMIX S9 Lineup with Sleek New Black Titanium Edition
Panasonic is pleased to introduce the LUMIX S9 Black Titanium Edition, bringing a sleek and timeless finish to its highly popular compact full-frame camera range.
Unlike previous special releases, the LUMIX S9 Black Titanium Edition will join the standard lineup and be widely available across Europe via authorised retailers and Panasonic Direct from beginning of May at an RRP of £1299.
The S9 Black Titanium Edition pairs a premium leather-textured body with precision-crafted titanium accents, creating a refined balance of durability and sophistication. The exterior has been carefully engineered through extensive material testing to achieve a consistent deep-black finish with a subtle, tactile grain. Unlike conventional coatings, the leather-textured surface enhances grip and handling while maintaining a clean, understated aesthetic.
This is complemented by titanium-finished trims, produced using an advanced multi-layer coating process designed to deliver both durability and visual depth. The treatment creates a uniform metallic surface with high resistance to wear, scratches, and environmental factors, while maintaining a smooth, low-reflectivity sheen that avoids harsh glare. The result is a subtle metallic contrast against the leather-textured body, adding precision detailing and a premium finish that is both robust and visually distinctive.
Building on the overwhelming response to the LUMIX S9 Titanium Gold Edition, which sold out rapidly across Europe, Panasonic now introduces this new colourway to meet continued demand for the model.
The LUMIX S9 Black Titanium Edition will be available in two kit options: paired with the LUMIX S 18–40mm lens in a matching black finish through authorised retail partners, or with a contrasting titanium finished lens available exclusively via Panasonic Direct.
