Three years since the release of the original and award winning PavoTube, Nanlite proudly ushers in an exciting, brand-new member of the PavoTube family. Designed for Cinematographers, Photographers, Gaffers and other creative professionals all around the world innovated through unremitting exploration.
Driven by the ever-changing demands of existing Nanlite users and creators from all walks of life and genres, the PavoTube II X series has accomplished comprehensive upgrades both in form factor and the cutting-edge technologies within. By closing the gap between manufacture and image makers Nanlite have been able to innovate a solution that truly allows for creative freedom whilst offering ease and enjoyment in usage.
Sticking to the classical designs of a 2’ and 4’ tube as seen with the original PavoTube C series, PavoTube II X offers an ideal solution for existing Pavotube users and are offered in a range of configurations to suit all needs and budgets, Nanlite strongly believes the new X series will enable us to touch the sky with our infinite passion for lighting.
The super expansion of CCT now offers a staggering range of colour temperature from 2700K to 12000K, combined with the cutting-edge technology of RGBWW colour-mixing and G/M adjustment, the new series guarantees that the PavoTube II X will capture every wonderful moment with more colour accuracy than ever seen before.
The X series taps into more shooting potentials for Gaffers with the introduction of Pixel Control to its special effects portfolio. 15 advanced built-in practical effects create a truly professional arsenal of easily controlled lighting effects, that will bring any production to life.
Connectivity to and from a fixture is critical to establish smooth workflows that enable creativity to flow. PavoTube II X series provides many more options of communication to the fixture via a whole new user interface, supporting DMX, RDM, Bluetooth and 2.4G wireless control. Furthermore, Nanlite have developed and own NANLINK APP which will be launched simultaneously to allow wireless controls of the PavoTube II X individually and in groups via mobile devices. With all these connectivity options the Pavotube II X has grasped today’s state-of-the-art communication solutions but has also poised itself for the future.
With a wider range of features comes a bigger demand on batteries, the new X series adopts an enhanced battery solution offering up to 29 hours when used at 1% with a recharge time ranging from 3 to 3.5 hours. Through design the Pavotubes are expected to work in the most remote locations and that has been considered to ensure the X series delivers power, accuracy, and ease of use regardless of where you shoot.
