The Jury for the 2020 ZEISS Photography Award Has Been Selected
Today ZEISS and the World Photography Organisation announced the jury for the 2020 ZEISS Photography Award. Louise Fedotov-Clements, director of the FORMAT International Photography Festival and artistic director of QUAD, a centre for contemporary art, Max Ferguson, freelance photo editor, and Simon Lovermann, founder and artistic director of the photo magazine Der Greif, will judge the submissions. Photographers from all over the world are invited to submit their photo series around the theme “Seeing Beyond – Discoveries” by February 4, 2020.
The theme “Seeing Beyond – Discoveries” can and should be interpreted in the broadest sense, as making new discoveries is human nature. In addition to their photographic quality, the jury will also judge the creativity of the submissions. The important thing is that the series tells a strong and clearly recognizable story.
