Loxley Colour in £2 million move to new lab premises

Loxley Colour has completed a £2million move to new premises in Glasgow.
After a year’s search, the leading prolab moved its eighty staff and multimillion pound equipment inventory on May 17 to new purpose-built, 60,000 sq ft premises at 1, Drum Mains Park, Orchardton Woods, Cumbernauld just eight miles from the city centre.
Chris Kay, marketing manager said, “Despite the recent recession we have been experiencing substantial year-on-year growth for each of the past five years. This is the fifth time in sixteen years Loxley Colour has moved in the city area we just keep outgrowing our home. We know that to stay ahead of the game we must continue to expand and innovate.”
He added “Our new unit is conveniently all on one level and just a few minutes drive from the city centre. We are perfectly located for motorway connections and adjacent to major transport hubs. Royal Mail and DHL depots are close by and they are vital components in fulfilling delivery to our rapidly expanding global customer database.”
Loxley Colour will recruit additional staff throughout the year as it rolls out new ranges of software and albums.
“Our mantra has always been to provide reasonably priced quality printing services and that is what this new move will enable us to do with even greater efficiency”. added Kay.
