Join award-winning portrait photographer and NoFussMuss YouTube tutor James Musselwhite for an evening exploring the visual language of classic Film Noir and how to create striking black and white portraits with lighting.
Learn to See in Black & White
This practical session looks beyond simply converting a colour photograph to black and white afterwards.
James will explore how to see, light and shoot with monochrome in mind, using light and shadow, contrast, direction and negative space to create atmosphere and drama.
The session is designed to help you understand how the choices you make when photographing your subject can influence the final black and white image.
