, Godox Introduces Updated TT350II Compact Camera Flash

Godox has unveiled the TT350II ThinkLite TTL Camera Flash, an upgraded version of its compact speedlight featuring a colour display, built-in LED modelling light and a redesigned hot shoe for wider camera compatibility.

Designed for photographers who want portable lighting without the bulk of a full-size flash, the TT350II is suited to a variety of applications, including portraits, events, street photography and still-life work.

One of the main additions is an upgraded high-definition colour display, designed to make settings easier to read and adjust. The flash also features a built-in LED modelling light, which can assist with focusing in low-light conditions and help photographers preview lighting effects before taking a photograph.

Flexible lighting options

The TT350II incorporates Godox’s 2.4GHz Wireless X system, allowing it to operate as both a transmitter and receiver within compatible multi-light setups. This gives photographers the option to use the flash on-camera or incorporate it into a wider off-camera lighting arrangement.

Its flash head tilts vertically from -7° to 120° and rotates horizontally through 270°, providing flexibility when bouncing light off ceilings and walls. A built-in bounce card and wide-angle diffusion panel offer additional options for modifying the light.

The flash supports TTL automatic exposure, manual flash, high-speed sync up to 1/8000 sec (depending on camera compatibility), front- and rear-curtain synchronisation, and multi-stroboscopic flash.

Compact design

Powered by two AA batteries, the TT350II measures approximately 144 × 65 × 37mm and weighs around 216g without batteries. Godox quotes a guide number of GN36 at ISO 100, with a recycling time of approximately 2.5 seconds when using 2500mAh NiMH batteries at full power.

The updated hybrid hot shoe is designed to support Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm and OM SYSTEM/Panasonic cameras, while a dedicated TT350II S version is available for Sony users. Compatibility and some functions vary according to the camera system.

The TT350II also supports optional AK-R1 mini magnetic lighting accessories when used with the appropriate adapter ring, providing further options for shaping light.

For photographers looking for a lightweight flash with wireless lighting capabilities, the TT350II adds several practical refinements to Godox’s compact speedlight range.
