Celebrating Recent Qualification Successes at The Societies’ Judging School

The Societies’ Judging School has been busy in recent weeks, with photographers from a range of photographic disciplines successfully completing their qualification submissions.
From nature and wildlife to wedding and portrait, commercial photography and beyond, these recent successes demonstrate the variety of pathways available to photographers looking to develop their skills and gain professional recognition.
Following our recent look inside The Societies’ Judging School, we’re delighted to celebrate five photographers who have recently achieved their qualifications.
Congratulations to our recent successful photographers
Shiva Mehta – LSINWP
Based in West Sussex, Shiva Mehta has successfully completed a Licentiate qualification with the Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers (SINWP).
The LSINWP qualification recognises photographers working within nature, wildlife and related areas, providing an opportunity to demonstrate their ability and photographic approach through a judged submission.
Helle Holm – ASWPP
Helle Holm, a photographer based in Silkeborg, has successfully achieved an Associate qualification with the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP).
The ASWPP qualification represents an important step for photographers looking to demonstrate a professional level of skill and creativity within wedding and portrait photography.
Lizzie Worley – ASWPP
West Yorkshire photographer Lizzie Worley has also successfully completed an Associate qualification with the SWPP.
Her successful submission adds another recent achievement to the growing list of photographers who have used the qualification process to have their work assessed by experienced judges.
Helen Simon – ASICIP
Helen Simon, based in Surrey, has successfully achieved an Associate qualification with the Society of International Commercial and Industrial Photographers (SICIP).
The ASICIP qualification provides commercial and industrial photographers with the opportunity to have their work professionally assessed and recognised within their field.
David Bostock – FSWPP
And congratulations also go to Oxfordshire photographer David Bostock, who has successfully completed a Fellowship qualification with the SWPP.
Fellowship represents the highest level of qualification offered by the SWPP, making this a particularly significant achievement and a testament to the quality and consistency of David’s photographic work.
A qualification is more than a title
For many photographers, entering a qualification is about much more than adding letters after their name. The process provides an opportunity to step back from their everyday photography, carefully consider their work and receive an independent assessment from experienced photographers and judges.
The judging process is designed to recognise technical ability, creativity, consistency and the photographer’s individual approach, while also providing valuable feedback that can help photographers continue to develop.
Whether you’re considering your first qualification or working towards the next level, the Judging School provides a structured route towards professional recognition across a range of photographic disciplines.
Congratulations once again to Shiva, Helle, Lizzie, Helen and David on their recent achievements.
