This shoot was taken in Finland for a client who not only runs luxury spa hotels but also sheltered accommodation. This photo was part of a series of portraits to showcase some of the residents in the complex. Running late on a shoot, this chap, a retired Lutheran priest, was nearly missed as the art director wanted to move on but when Sean saw him in his apartment he just knew we had to photograph him to show the environment he lived in. Using the beautiful window light with 2 California sun-bounce reflectors to fill and positioning the lights to control the spread and direction of the window light.
