The Society of Photographers’ Photographer of the Year 2025

2025 has been another outstanding year for The Society of Photographers’ Monthly Image Competition, with thousands of images submitted across the year. The 20×16″ Print Competition, held during this year’s Convention, once again showcased an exceptional standard of work, attracting entries from photographers around the world for this highly prestigious event. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who took part in both competitions.

Each category within the Monthly Image Competition features nominees selected from the Gold Award–winning images of 2025, highlighting the very best work submitted throughout the year.

None of this would be possible without the continued support of our dedicated panel of judges, who generously gave their time and expertise across our Qualifications, Monthly Image Competitions, End of Year judging, and the 20×16″ Print Competition at the Convention.
