Shutter Up! Compact Camera Bags Are Back?

If you’d asked us if there was a market for compact camera bags just a few years ago, the answer would be a clear “No!”  What could change compact cameras descent into obscurity? 

How the world has changed.

Influencers started moving towards more premium compact cameras that added more functionality and better results than the smartphone could deliver.  As well as the functionality, this move seems to be driven by the same sense of nostalgia that is helping bring back film and driving sales of records, along with the desire for influencers to distinguish themselves from their competition who still use their mobile phone. This trend has been picked up by the camera brands with a host of value products retailing between £100 and £350 with models like the Kodak Pixpro FZ55 and the Canon Powershot V10, along with models straddling the £1,000 price point like the Sony ZV-E10L and the Leica D-LUX 8. Into this market we’re still seeing new models like the Lumix TZ300 arriving in May 2026.
