In this engaging session, Jess will demonstrate her approach to capturing breathtaking portraits of dogs while prioritising their comfort and safety. She will tackle real-life scenarios that can arise during a shoot, helping you learn how to navigate challenges with minimal equipment. From easing a dog’s fears to encouraging them to find their own pose, you’ll gain valuable insights into the art of pet photography.
No Experience Necessary
This class is designed for photographers of all levels. While previous studio or off-camera flash experience will be helpful, it is not required. Likewise, whether you’re a seasoned dog handler or a complete novice, Jess will guide you through the process.
During the class, Jess will photograph the dogs and discuss the various situations that unfold during the session. Since the demonstration features live animals—real pet dogs who will react as client dogs do—participants will not be shooting during the workshop. Instead, bring a notepad and an open mind, as there will be a wealth of information shared in a short amount of time!
