The award-winning camera support maker launches Freya, a dedicated L-bracket designed for the Fujifilm X-T5 in co-operation with Fujifilm UK.

Following the success of its Gracy L-bracket for Fujifilm GFX 100S and 50S II cameras, 3 Legged Thing is excited to announce Freya, an L-bracket designed to precisely fit the Fujifilm X-T5.

“We’re delighted to once again co-operate with the team at Fujifilm UK to create Freya,” said Stuart Boston, Chief Operations Officer, 3 Legged Thing. “The X-T5 has already proved to be incredibly popular thanks to its next-generation X-Trans sensor. We’re sure X-T5 users will find Freya to be an essential addition to their kit.”

The Arca-Swiss compatible L-bracket gives X-T5 users access to the battery door and side ports when in use. Cut-outs along the base and in the upright allow the rear screen to be opened and angled. An indent in the upright accommodates the camera’s strap lug. Shaping on the base ensures a secure fit, and a ¼”-20 Stainless Steel camera screw attaches the L-bracket to the camera.

3 Legged Thing constructed Freya from aerospace-grade magnesium alloy. It features a ¼”-20 screw thread in its upright for the attachment of accessories, for example, lights or monitors. This enables photographers to make ever more creative images.

An extending base enables Freya to be used with cables when in portrait orientation. 3 Legged Thing supplies a cable management tool with Freya that slots on to the upright. Users can detach the base of the L-bracket and use it on its own with a camera or long lenses to mount to a tripod.

3LT supplies an adapter with a long camera screw in the box with Freya. This enables users of Peak Design’s v3 Capture clip system to use the L-bracket with their Capture clips.

3 Legged Thing anodised Freya in their signature L-bracket colours – Copper, Metallic Slate Grey, and Darkness matte black.

Freya is available starting today from 3LeggedThing.com and all good camera retailers. It has a suggested retail price of £99.99 / US $119.99 / €99.99. For worldwide stockists visit 3LeggedThing.com/where-to-buy.
