Shimoda launch backpack collection designed for women
Shimoda, The Adventure Photography brand, recognising the popularity and growth in the number of women who are enjoying their photography, has launched its first backpack collection designed for women to include the women’s tech straps already fitted. The new Women’s Collection includes three sizes from the new Action X v2 series as well as two sizes from the Explore v2 series. The very noticeable visual difference is the use of the new ‘Teal Colourway’, which is a step away from the norm and exclusive to the Women’s Collection.
This new Shimoda women’s collection is made, as with all the Shimoda ranges, from the highest quality materials. Further women-specific design features have been taken into consideration to afford more comfort and flexibility when using the pack, such as the harness & dual sternum straps, the ladder system, multiple accessory mounting points, as well as the ability to increase and decrease the capacity of the bag through the roll top design and the removable, adjustable hip belt.

Having acknowledged that no other bag brand had a specific women’s range, we undertook the research and feedback was so positive we decided to launch the range in time for women to make the most of their adventures during the summer months.”
