NOVO Calder 40L backpack

Manufactured using a high-tech waterproof gridlock poly-cell 300D nylon with reinforced ripstop nylon. The latter helps strengthen the fabric preventing ripping and fraying. An attractive and timeless backpack.
A lightweight aluminium frame sewn into the membrane ensures the backpack does not lose its shape whilst aiding weight distribution. Utilising a padded, moulded EVA vented back panel and harness gives the Calder 40L a superior level of comfort.
Adjustable waist belt and sternum straps help to ensure sung fit and nice balance. Additionally, shoulder tensioners further improve centre of gravity – perfect for when you are trekking with heavy loads. A grab handle at the top of the bag aids in lifting the bag in and out of a car boot or overhead lockers encountered on aircraft or trains.
Dual access backpack via zipper to top of the bag or through the rear. There is a dedicated space for 15” laptop, 10” tablet or Wacom type editing unit, plus lots of accessories in pockets both interior and exterior. Included are two cinch multipurpose straps for attaching a tripod or sleeping bag/roll to base.
The Calder 40L has an Interchangeable Camera Unit (ICU) and is included with the bag. Incorporates a grab handle and a shoulder strap so that the ICU can also be used independently. YKK zips, including shower proof zips on the main bag embodiment along with quick magnetic opening and closing on the straps ensure reliability and user friendliness.
The internal ICU bag can be customised using the folding dividers also included, adapting the bag to suit Pro Mirrorless or DSLR cameras with 70-200mm fast pro lenses or similar plus 4-5 extra lenses. The ICU can also be removed entirely and used to store equipment separately. Can be inserted into the main backpack when required.
Aircraft carry-on ready with many international airlines (meeting the standard for international carry-on requirements. The Calder 40L is near the maximum size giving users the most available space. If you’re going away on a weekend mission with a smaller camera kit, you still have enough room to throw in a couple of outfits, shoes, wash bag and other essentials as well, making the Calder 40L backpack a versatile option and ready for a long haul. A variety of camera cine or video equipment plus multiple editing or drone devices can be packed, so you can count on the Calder 40L carrying everything for your work and pleasure in one solution.
Weighing in at approximately 2.6kg complete, 1.6kg without the ICU. Outside dimensions are H55cm x W33cm x D22cm. ICU dimensions are H40cm x W31cm x D18cm with substantial load capacity of 40 litres in total.
