Photography Coaches Launches at The Photography Show
The Photography Show is an exciting event for professionals and amateurs alike, and especially for everyone involved in the Photography Industry… So, we have chosen this event to launch our new Photography Coaches Franchise.
Photography Coaches will offer consistent and expert training for all levels of photographer across the UK. We aim to be the ‘go to’ Brand for photography coaching, delivered by a network of carefully selected and trained regional franchisees, who will offer the same suite of Photography Coaches’ introductory workshops in addition to diverse photography further learning experiences depending on their individual areas of expertise.
Photography Coaches may be a new business, but is the product of many years of relevant experience and has been in the thoughts and dreams of the founder, lan Watts, for some time…
“After graduating in Engineering, I previously had a long and successful career designing, developing and delivering skills training events for Blue Chip companies such as Land Rover, IBM, Mercedes-Benz and Lexus Europe. In 2010, a lifestyle change provided the opportunity for a new career as a full-time Professional Event Photographer and, after a move to the Lake District 5 years ago, I started combining both careers to teach photographers rather than Industry sales and management personnel.”

In order to fulfil our goals and objectives for the new business, we are currently recruiting franchisees all over the UK. So, please get in touch if you are a knowledgable and enthusiastic photographer with excellent communication skills, and you would like to earn an income from helping others to improve their photography skills.
In return, we can offer an exclusive geographical territory, continuous National Brand Marketing, a fully searchable bespoke website and booking system (currently under development), access to our suite of training materials and ongoing support and training from a coaching industry professional.
We have divided the country into small regions to keep the initial investment to a minimum (and minimise travelling distance for customers). A small single area could easily be operated as a second or semi-retirement income, or multiple regions could provide a substantial full-time income for a more ambitious Franchisee.
A significant additional advantage of being part of a National Brand is benefitting from the growing market in ‘experiential tourism’ through the global availability of nationally redeemable Gift Vouchers: If a non-photographer wants to buy a gift voucher for a distant friend or relative, it is unlikely that they will research and buy from an individual photographer in another part of the country (or World). However, they are very likely to buy a generic voucher from a recognised brand, such that the recipient can choose the location, subject and level of expertise to suit them best.
