Tenba is today announcing a complete refresh of its iconic DNA Messenger series. Consistently one of the world’s best-selling bags, the range has been completely overhauled to meet the needs of a new generation of photographers and content creators. Inspired by New York City’s tenacious bike messengers, these new bags offer as much toughness and versatility as the men and women who ride the NYC streets. The new range improves on sizing to better accommodate newest hardware that photographers rely on, especially with the explosion of mirrorless cameras, and on durability and versatility to ensure they can withstand the rigours of any shoot.

There are three sizes to suit all needs:

• DNA 9 Slim Messenger Bag: fits a Mirrorless, Rangefinder or compact DSLR camera with two-to-three lenses
• DNA 13 DSLR Messenger Bag: fits a Mirrorless or DSLR camera with 3-5 lenses (up to 70-200mm 2.8 attached)
• DNA 16 DSLR Messenger Bag: fits a Mirrorless or DSLR camera upto pro size with grip and 4-6 lenses (up to attached 70-200mm 2.8

New fabric technology, with coating on both exterior and interior also offers the best water-resistance that Tenba – or in fact any other bag manufacturer – has ever made. A new TPU-

coated and seam-sealed base is completely waterproof. The waterproof boot base is 1.4in (3.8cm) so the bottom of the bag can be set down on any wet surface, even for an extended period, and remain waterproof protecting the precious gear inside.

New two-tone blue or all black colourways with superior matte finish give this range a fresh new look, while a dark grey ripstop fabric offers a richer internal aesthetic. Furthermore, a new ‘stealth’ reflective panel on the front-flap increases safety and visibility at night, especially in the city or when riding bicycles, scooters or mopeds. Black in colour, the material is nonetheless reflective so that when light hits it, the front panel illuminates.

The bags feature a new removable padded camera insert, for improved efficiency and convenience. Remove the insert to quickly transform your DNA Messenger bag into a non-photo bag for general use, such as the gym, carrying work equipment or travelling on holiday – with all the protective elements that you entrust your most prized photography gear to.
