The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers have announced the winners of the Beauty of Nature Photography Competition.

Angi Wallace from Tyne & Wear, England was chosen as the winner.

Angi has won 12 months membership to The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers (SINWP) organisation plus copy of DxO PureRAW by DxO.

Angi informed us “The Crocus photograph – This spring I spotted the most beautiful, vibrant Crocus I have ever seen and just had to by several pots to plant in our garden, they are called Crocus “Firefly” and I don’t think I have ever taken so many photographs of a group of flowers. I experimented with a range of lenses over a couple of weeks. This image was taken on my Sony A7ii with a Meyer Gorlitz Primoplan lens paired with extension tubes to allow me to get in closer – I love the dreamy, softness this lens can give, very much like some Lensbay lenses.”

Colin Jones The Societies Director says, “This competition was very popular with images coming in from all over the Globe, Angi’s Crocus shot was chosen as the winning image as the colour and gentleness captures the theme of the competition very well.”

Angi was also awarded 2nd place and 3rd place went to Tatiana Biriukova from Chelyabinsk, Russia.
