PermaJet and Canon have teamed up for a print competition with some highly desirable prizes

1st prize Canon PRO-300 and PermaJet Art Pack

WIN over £1,000 in prizes

The first-place winner will receive the fantastic new Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-300 printer and an A3 PermaJet Art Pack bundle, worth over £750. This prize is a must for any photographer who wants to create professional quality prints.

Entry is free and can be done via the competition website. The shortlisted entries will be judged by an esteemed line up including Louise Hill, PermaJet representative and head of The Photographic Academy; Mike McNamee, Editor of Professional Imagemaker; Will Cheung, Editor of Photography News; and Sanjay Jogia, professional photographer and Canon Ambassador.

The entry theme, ‘Light in the Dark’, is open to interpretation but PermaJet suggest that you could take photos of who or what has got you through the dark times this year, or prompts you to get creative with shadows and light.

There will also be a second-place prize of a £250 PermaJet voucher, and third place will get a spot on a From Print to Perfection course at The Photograpic Academy. For more information, or to enter the competition, visit Permajet’s website before the closing date of 10th January 2021.

“During the Covid crisis in a DGH in South Wales, I shot a lot of staff exhausted both physically and emotionally. This incident when Lauri, a scrub nurse, was presented with a cake on her 40th was a real moment of light during the dark days.” – David Collyer, documentary photographer
