SAMYANG AF 14mm F2.8 RF wins TIPA World Award 2020: “BEST MIRRORLESS PRIME WIDE-ANGLE LENS”

Samyang Optics, a leading global manufacturer of photo, video and cine lenses, announces that the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) has presented its TIPA World Awards 2020 for the best products in the photo and imaging market and the Samyang AF 14mm F2.8 RF has won their award for
“BEST MIRRORLESS PRIME WIDE-ANGLE LENS”.

The Samyang super-wide AF 14mm lens is designed to deliver a unique point of view and perspective for many creative effects. It has a near 114mm angle of view and close-focusing capability of 0.2m (8 inches).The maximum aperture of f/2.8 and minimum of f/22, allow both very deep and very shallow depth of field effects to be captured. Compact in size at 9.5cm (3.75 inches) long, the lens also features weather-sealed construction and a rear filter holder which is useful for creative and light-control effects. This is the world’s first AF 14mm F2.8 lens for Canon RF mount and is designed for users to enjoy a broader perspective with their mirrorless cameras.
