Weather Watch Photography Competition Winner Announced

Sunrise over Flecknoe Grabs Top Nature Photography Award.

The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers are pleased to announce the winners of the Weather Watch Photography Competition.

For this competition, we asked to see all kinds of images that depict any type of weather, may it be thunderous storms, tornados, blizzards or beautiful sunshine to name a few. Let’s see Mother Nature at her very best.

Hamish Scott-Brown from Warwickshire, England was chosen as the winner from over 230+ images entered into the competition.

Hamish has won 12 months membership to The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers (SINWP) organisation.




Hamish tells us

“I was scouting locations in and around my homeland of Warwickshire for some ‘Journeys’ related to my other business. Photographic Journeys It was shot at Flecknoe at dawn.”

Phil Jones, the Societies CEO says,

“Hamish’s image captured the theme wonderfully, with the beautiful sense of feeling from the image as the sun is rising through the fog.”

There are 2 runners up Antony Zacharias from London and Peter Jones from the Nottinghamshire both won 6 months memberships.
