10 Essential Things to do at The Societies’ 2016 London Photo Convention

The Societies’ London Photo Convention Trade Show from 22-24 January 2016 at the Hilton London Metropole hotel. Don’t forget free registration ends this Friday (15 Jan 16). So make sure you register before then to secure your free Trade Show tickets.

Tempted by a Nikon D500? Head over to the Nikon stand and you’ll be able to get hands on with the latest kit. Nikon also have some good speakers on stand too and it promises to be a good weekend at the London Photo Trade Show.

On theprintspace stand will be an exclusive exhibition showcasing some of the major artists and organisations that they regularly work closely with, and provides a rare opportunity to view a collection of word-class portrait photography. This is not to be missed!

Adobe will be running a series of seminars to give you the opportunity to boost your digital editing skills. From getting to grips with Lightroom to using Photoshop for video editing, you’re sure to pick up a few new tips.

The Societies’ 20×16” Print Competition winners will be showcased during the Trade Show. You’ll be able to see the images up close and if you make it for the judging (Wednesday 20-Thursday 21 Jan) you can see some of the world’s best photographers critiquing and scoring the entries.

5. Get the skill to take your photography to the next level with The Photographer Academy
The Photographer Academy have arranged a series of free seminars for The Societies’ Convention. Each day the demos take you to another level of photography bringing new styles, new concepts and new skills sets.
