The 20×16” Print Competition will be judged at The Societies’ Convention in the Hilton Meeting Rooms 13-17, at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel. The judging process is held in public so photographers can watch the assessment process; this in itself is an invaluable learning process.
All the images which receive a Merit Award will then be displayed for 14,000 visitors to view in the Convention Exhibition Area and the winner will be announced at our prestigious Awards Night on Saturday 23 January at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel.
Not only do you have the chance of having your images seen by 14,000 other photographers, you could also be crowned The Societies’ 20×16″ Overall Photographer of the Year 2016 and be in with the chance of winning a Bowens Gemini 500R (x2) Tx/Rx Kit (valued at up to £958.99)

Portrait Category: includes the following sub-categories: Classical, Avant Garde, Children/Babies – commissioned and non-commissioned
Documentary Category: commissioned and non-commissioned
The Natural World: commissioned and non-commissioned
Open Category: Anything goes – commissioned and non-commissioned work
Nouveau Category: Anything goes – commissioned and non-commissioned work – only open to first-time entrants of the 20×16 competition.
