All Things Great and Small Photography Competition Winners Announced

The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers have announced the winners of All Things Great and Small Photography Competition.
For this competition photographers were asked to submit any images from creatures, landscapes, nature and wildlife both large and small.
Trev Wilson from Merseyside, England was chosen as the winner from over 190 images entered in to the competition.
Trev tells us
“Wow thank you so much this is great news. This image was actually taken during the same session as my Wildlife POTY winning image and thing about this image that I love is the dash of side lighting on his back just lifts the blue of his feathers. It still amazes me that we have such a exotic looking bird native to us in the UK.
It was taken on a private stretch of river in the West Midlands. This is a male KF who was fishing for his female KF’s lunch as she was sitting on a second clutch of eggs approximately 100 metres down river. The session last 12 hours on the river bank in a hide. I was using a Canon 5D mk3 with a Canon 500mm f4 IS mk1, ISO 800, f4, 2500th. If I remember correctly the KF visited this perch about 4 times although he was constantly flying up and down the river patrolling and hunting on his territory.”
Trev has won 12 months membership to The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers SINWP. Phil Jones, The Societies CEO says,
“This month’s competition was of a very high standard, with images ranging from birds of prey to macro shots of tiny arthropods. Trev’s winning image depicted both the great and small essence of the competition.”
The runners up Robin Graham Claydon and Hazel Maxted have both been awarded 6 months membership to the SINWP photographic organisation.
