Urban Decay Photographic Competition Winners Announced

The Society of International Travel and Tourism Photographers have announced the winners of the Urban Decay Photographic Competition.
For this competition, we asked for images from abandoned buildings, disused roads or any derelict architecture that brings the beauty out of anything that’s been left alone and untouched for years.
Mark Salmon from Lancashire was chosen as the winner from over 430 images entered into the competition, with the image entitled ‘Empire Cinema’.
Mark has won 12 months membership to The Society of International Travel and Tourism Photographers SITTP. Phil Jones, The Societies CEO says, ”This competition had everything from derelict buildings, eerie and hauntingly structures that have not been used in many years, Mark’s image showed the theme of the competition in its entirety”
The runners up Grahame Smith from East Lothian, Scotland and John Wood from Hertfordshire, England have both been awarded 6 months membership to the SITTP photographic organisation.
