All Creatures Great and Small Photography Competition – Winners Announced

Robin Lowry

The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers has announced the winners of the All Creatures Great and Small Photography Competition.

The theme for June’s open to all competition was All Creatures Great and Small’, images that depicted all creatures no matter how big or how small, remembering that being in their natural environment and being engaged in some sort of activity adds to the story of the image. We were not disappointed with the quality of the entries.

Robin Lowry‘s image was chosen as the winner from over 400 entries.

Also Robin had another image which was selected for 3rd place with the image entitled Wood Mouse’.

Robin from Linford, Essex has won 18 months membership to The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers SINWP.

Robin gives us an insight to both images

“The Kingfisher Queen was taken on a Canon 1DX 70-200mm f2.8L lens at 135mm, Shutter speed 2000th sec at f4.5 1600 iso. Taken in a stream near Worcestershire.
