In Vogue Photography Competition – Winners Announced

The Society of International Fashion and Glamour Photographers has announced the winners of the In Vogue Photography competition.
The theme for June’s open to all competition was In Vogue‘, images that depicted male or female styles along with fashion shot’s which should show the clothes to the fullest effect as if the image had been commissioned by a magazine, designer etc.
Ginny Marsh‘s image was chosen as the winner from a vast array of entries.
Ginny from Surrey, England has won 12 months membership to The Society of International Fashion and Glamour Photographers SIFGP.
Ginny goes on to tell us on winning the competition
“Fantastic news, thank you The model is Grace Gray, and the image was shot for Beverley Edmondson Millinery based in Farnham, Surrey who’s hat the model is wearing. It was shot in the studio with my Canon 5D mkii… I used a large beauty dish overhead with reflector underneath on the models lap, plus a light behind the model lighting the background”

“Ginny’s image caught the judges eye with simple composition, pleasing lighting, attractive subject which elegantly fulfils the criteria.”
The runners up James Buckley LSIFGP from Kent and Terence Mendoza from Essex have both been awarded 6 months membership to the SIFGP photographic organisation.
