April Photographic Competitions – Open to both members and non-members alike

The Societies are pleased to launch April’s Photographic Competitions.

We would like to thank all those who have previously entered The Societies’ monthly photographic competitions. This month we launch another four competitions for you to enter and we look forward to seeing more stunning images.

Entries are invited from everyone who is interested in photography.

Natural Beauty Photography Competition

Nature’s beauty is all around us, it may be colourful flora and fauna, a glorious sunset or vista, tiny creatures or marine life – in fact anything that depicts the glorious world that we live in is applicable to this exciting competition.

Documentary Photographic Competition

This competition focuses on how we see our world, it may be what is happening on the streets around us at the places we visit.

The images need to portray a clear narrative and have impact.  As with all competitions good composition qualities are essential along with good exposures and thoughtful post-production techniques.

Memorable Moments Photography Competition

Moments of love and tenderness between two people are the theme of this month’s competition.  The relationships between people expressing love and togetherness at a special moment in their lives, it may be a wedding or just a romantic occasion or whatever the moment may be.

Architecture Photography Competition

Images may be exterior or interior and we are looking for good technical excellence and superb lighting.
