Wex Photo Video opens Manchester store

Photographic and filmmaking retail specialists open new showroom in Manchester, with guest appearance from rock photographer Mike McCartney.
Visitors to the grand opening of the brand new Wex Photo Video store in Manchester on 14 September 2018 will be treated to a ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ of the showroom and the opportunity to meet Mike McCartney renowned rock music photographer, author and brother of Beatles musician Paul – who will make a guest appearance from 10.00 on the day.
A full programme of complimentary seminars, expert talks, photo walks and workshops will take place over a two-day event from 14-15 September, featuring well-known photographers and cinematographers including Andy Hoang, Jon Scott and Damian McGillicuddy. Customers will have the chance to meet Mike McCartney on Friday 14 September, who will be happy to answer any questions on his photographic work, as well as his own entertainment career with music trio The Scaffold.
The new Wex Photo Video store (formerly known as Calumet Photographic) is located at Unit 4, Downing Street Industrial Estate, Charlton Place, Manchester M12 6HH.
Entrance to the event is free of charge, but attendees are advised to arrive early for the seminars to avoid disappointment. The store will be open from 10.00 to 17.00 each day.
The grand opening will feature high-profile manufacturers from the photo and video industries showcasing their latest products and technologies, including Olympus, Nikon, Panasonic, Fujifilm, Canon, Sony, DJI, Epson, Adobe, Billingham, Lee Filters and many more. A series of special offers will be available throughout the two days, and all visitors will be eligible to enter a free prize draw for £1000-worth of Wex vouchers.
