, Laowa Introduces 24mm f/2 Zero-D Tilt-Shift Lens

Venus Optics has announced the new Laowa 24mm f/2 Zero-D Tilt-Shift, a wide-angle manual-focus lens designed for architectural, interior, landscape and commercial photography.

Combining a fast f/2 maximum aperture with advanced tilt and shift controls, the new lens offers up to ±10° of tilt and ±12mm of shift, giving photographers greater control over perspective, composition and the plane of focus.

Laowa’s Zero-D optical design is engineered to minimise geometric distortion, helping photographers maintain straight lines when capturing buildings, interiors and other architectural subjects.

The lens features a 13-element construction arranged in 10 groups, including five ED elements, four high-refractive-index elements and two aspherical elements. It also incorporates a 14-blade diaphragm, manual focusing and a 77mm filter thread.

Designed primarily for full-frame mirrorless cameras, its large 67mm image circle also provides compatibility with medium-format Fujifilm GFX and Hasselblad XCD systems.

Available in Sony E, Nikon Z, Canon RF, L-Mount, Fujifilm GFX and Hasselblad XCD versions, the lens measures 93 × 119mm and weighs approximately 860g.

The Laowa 24mm f/2 Zero-D Tilt-Shift has a recommended US retail price of $1,249, with shipping scheduled to begin in December 2026.
