Apple Introduces New MacBook Pro with M5 Pro and M5 Max

Apple has announced the latest 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro powered by the new M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, delivering significant performance improvements and advanced on-device AI capabilities for professional users.

Built with Apple’s new Fusion Architecture, the chips feature up to an 18-core CPU with enhanced performance and efficiency, alongside powerful GPUs with Neural Accelerators designed to accelerate AI-driven tasks. This allows developers, researchers, and creative professionals to run complex workflows such as AI model training, video editing, and 3D rendering directly on their laptops.

The new MacBook Pro also includes up to 2× faster SSD speeds, with base storage starting at 1TB for M5 Pro models and 2TB for M5 Max models. Additional features include the Apple-designed N1 wireless chip supporting Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, a Liquid Retina XDR display, Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, a 12MP Center Stage camera, and up to 24 hours of battery life.

Available in space black and silver, the new MacBook Pro models are available to pre-order starting March 4, with availability beginning March 11.
