Dog Photography Competition – Winner Announced

The Society of Photographers is delighted to reveal the winners of the Dog Photography Competition, a celebration of the images that capture the love and happiness that our four legged friends bring us.
1st Place Winner: Ekko the Bearded Collie
Huge congratulations to Craig Turner-Bullock from Christchurch, New Zealand, who takes the top spot with a stunning environmental portrait of Ekko the Bearded Collie.
Captured on the dramatic black sands of Reynisfjara beach in Iceland, the winning image perfectly showcases the power of embracing the elements to create something truly memorable.
Craig shared the story behind the photograph:
“With a dog like Ekko having long, luscious hair on a windy shoot really only leaves the option of embracing the elements!”
The final image was created from an eight-frame stitch and finished with a striking black-and-white treatment to enhance the atmosphere and drama of the scene.
