2025 UK Photographic Roadshow Tour – What a Year!

The 2025 UK Photo Roadshows were a fantastic celebration of photography, learning, and community.

Over nine events, we travelled the length and breadth of the country. Starting in April at the Alona Hotel in Motherwell, moving south to Kendal and Walsall, then continuing in May with stops at Wetherby Racecourse, Colwick Hall in Nottingham, and the Bank House Hotel in Worcester. After a summer break, we hit the road again in September, visiting the Webbington Hotel & Spa in Somerset, the Green Park Conference Centre in Reading, and wrapping up the tour at Priestfield Stadium in Kent.

Each venue welcomed around 150 delegates, creating a vibrant and friendly atmosphere where photographers could connect, discover new gear, and leave inspired. Whether attendees were long-standing members or newcomers, the Roadshows proved to be a place to share knowledge, build relationships, and get hands-on with the latest equipment.

Inspiring Speakers

This year’s line-up was packed with industry talent: Scott Johnson, Simon Burfoot, Jeff Brown, Alex Denham, Oliver Wheeldon, Raj Khepar, Gary Hill, Rebecca Douglas, Mr Whisper, and Luke Davis delivered sessions on everything from wedding photography tips and creative lighting to building a successful photography business. Their energy and expertise gave delegates plenty to take back to their own work.

Exhibitor Highlights

The trade areas were buzzing with activity as leading brands and suppliers showcased their innovations:

• Nikon ZR made its UK public debut at the September roadshows, drawing huge attention from delegates eager to get a first look.
• Click Backdrops chose the roadshows to unveil their new foldable fabric backdrops, which quickly became a hot topic on the show floor.
• Canon, Sony, Fujifilm, and Nikon all brought their latest cameras and lenses for photographers to test-drive.

Other brilliant exhibitors included 3 Legged Thing, Elinchrom, Permajet, Camera Centre UK, MagMod, Gomatic, Loxley Colour, Aaduki Multimedia Insurance, Graphistudio, Evoto, The Society of Photographers, Praetego, Bump2Baby, and Professional Imagemaker. Their expertise, exclusive deals, and product demos made the exhibition areas a true highlight of each event.

The Roadshow Experience

Delegates had the chance to enjoy live demonstrations, grab special show offers, and, most importantly, connect with fellow photographers and industry professionals. The hands-on opportunities, combined with expert talks and a welcoming atmosphere, once again cemented the Roadshows as a must-attend event on the UK photography calendar.
