Nikon’s Z50ii And Z6iii Honoured in This Year’s Red Dot Award: Product Design 2025
Today Nikon is delighted to announce it has received two Red Dot Awards, a significant achievement which celebrates exceptional product design. Nikon’s Z50II APS-C size mirrorless camera, launched in November 2024, was recognised by the jury, along with the Z6III full-frame mirrorless camera, launched in June 2024.
As one of the most prestigious international design competitions, products from 60 countries were submitted which were then assessed and judged by an esteemed panel of global design specialists in various disciplines.
The independent Red Dot Jury evaluates all entries based on four core principles of good design: function, seduction, use and responsibility. Nikon is thrilled to see both the Z50II and Z6III commended as part of the revered annual awards.

NIKON Z6III
The Z6III is a powerful full-frame mirrorless camera that brings professional-grade performance from Nikon’s flagship models to an accessible body. Using Nikon Z mount, it offers wide lens compatibility and excellent optical quality, while a dedicated Picture Control button simplifies editing and creative control. Adoption of the EXPEED 7 image processing engine realises subject-detection and advanced AF performance.
