Under 5s Photography Competition Winner Announced

The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers have announced the winners of the Under 5s Photography Competition.
For this month’s competition, we were looking for great believable expression that shows the personality of the baby or child, and we were not disappointed.
Julie Moult from Leicestershire’s image was chosen from over 290 images entered.
Julie explains a bit about the winning image
“It’s my party was taken in my studio on a cream paper background with a single 24 softbox camera right camera settings Canon 5dM2 160 f/10 ISO 125 using a Canon 70-200mm lens at 70mm”.
Julie has won 12 months membership to The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP).
Phil Jones, The Societies CEO says,
“A simple, charming image beautifully captured with pleasing props that add meaning to the photograph. This month’s competition attracted a high level of creative images, which made judging very difficult, the range of entries was very broad and we have seen everything from environmental images to studio portraiture from colour to monochromatic renditions.”
2nd place was Julie Fraser from Caithness and 3rd place was from again Julie Moult from Leicestershire were both been awarded 6 months membership to the SWPP photographic organisation.
