Landmarks Photography Competition Winners Announced

Arron Gent

The Society of International Travel & Tourism Photographers has announced the winners of the Landmarks Photography Competition.

For this competition, photographers were asked to focus on interesting landmarks – they may be famous or not, just important to the place that they exist.

Arron Gent from Essex was chosen as the winner from 480 images entered into the competition, with the image entitled Speed of light’.

Arron has won 12 months membership to The Society of International Travel & Tourism Photographers SITTP.

Phil Jones, The Societies CEO says,

“This image was chosen because of its striking leading lines in a colourful, vibrant image shot on the iconic Tower Bridge in London. The competition had a very high standard which made judging very difficult, the range of entries was very broad and we have seen everything from the Golden Gate Bridge to The Taj Mahal, along with beautiful beaches and iconic world views”.

The runners up Karl Redshaw from Warwickshire and Mihaly Attila Kazsuba from Barcelona have both been awarded 6 months membership to the SITTP photographic organisation.
