The Urban Explore Collection has been designed to accommodate today’s most popular tools, including the latest photographic and video equipment, laptops, Capture Clips and more. The streamlined, minimalist appearance makes it the perfect companion for traversing the urban landscape, whether this be a commute to your place of work or a city break. The low profile design makes the negotiation of busy streets easy and the subtle styling ensures you blend into the crowd. There is also a hidden passport and valuables pocket to ensure your valuables are kept hidden.
Creators can have peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that the Urban Explore series has been designed to complement their workflow. All models feature a dedicated mounting strip for a Capture Camera Clip, which provides a padded strip behind the clip and the main strap to avoid any hard-metal pressure points against the body, and there is a dedicated space to store a mobile battery charger which includes cable routing to the interior compartment to keep cameras powering up while you’re on the move.

The Urban Explore Series comes in three sizes to fit non-gripped mirrorless and DSLRs with multiple lenses and matching accessories. Further flexibility is provided by the removable core units and should there be a need to travel further afield, the Urban Explore series meets the strictest international carry-on regulations. Ease of carrying and moving is achieved through three exterior handles as well as a luggage handle pass-through.
Available in two colourways, Anthracite and Boa, the Urban Explorer also pays respect to the planet with its recycled, Cordura re/cor RPET, Shimoda developed fabric. This material is 100% post consumer recycled polyester, recycled from PET bottles and packaging.

16-inch Laptop Sleeve
Both the 25 and 30-litre Urban Explore packs include a laptop sleeve that fits a 16-inch MacBook Pro. The 20-litre size fits a 14-inch MacBook Pro.
Dual Camera Access
The rear door allows unobstructed access to all your gear at once. The side is for quick access to your camera without having to fully remove the pack from your body.
Capture Camera Clip Mounting Strap
A unique mounting strip can be used to mount a Capture Clip camera accessory over the padded portion of the strap, which keeps the rigid metal of the clip off your body. This improves comfort and allows the clip height to be easily dialed-in for the best fit.
Core Units
Each pack includes a removable camera insert Core Unit that can be quickly removed to convert the pack for everyday work, overnighters and daily adventures.
Cable Management Pocket
A zippered side pocket fits a mobile battery charger and includes cable routing to the interior compartment to keep cameras powering up while you’re on the move.
Security
Each pack has a hidden sleeve to fit an AirTag or similar style tracking device. There is also a hidden zippered pocket in the rear panel for passports, cash and credit cards.
Recycled Shell Material
A recycled outer shell, manufactured by Cordura, has been customized by Shimoda with our own rip-stop pattern and DWR treatments to give the pack greater tear resistance and water-repellency.
Side Panel Pockets
Fit water bottles, travel tripods and other accessories. Built from the same exterior backpack fabric so they are durable and tear resistant.
Rain Cover
Each pack includes a removable rain cover that adds an extra layer of wet weather protection. The rain cover hides away seamlessly in a hidden pocket in the base of the pack.

Pricing & Availability
The Urban Explore Collection consist of three sizes of bags, in two colourways.
The price for the 20-litre pack is £285.00 including VAT and this accepts a 14” laptop. The 25-litre and 30-litre packs retail at £305.00 and £330.00 respectively and these both fit a 16” laptop.
Stock will be available to customers in the UK in mid-March with a limited number of samples available for review.
