, National Science and Media Museum unveils photo display to mark King’s Coronation

To mark the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla on 6 May, the National Science and Media Museum has unveiled a new photo display of moments from the King’s life from the Daily Herald Archive, with their original newspaper captions.

The photo display, open until the museum temporarily closes on 4 June, looks back at the King’s life with archival images from throughout his life, including the young Prince with his mother, Queen Elizabeth II through to his investiture as the Prince of Wales.

The Daily Herald was one of the world’s top-selling daily newspapers during the 1930s – 1960s, reporting extensively on the Royal Family, creating a rich photographic archive, cared for by the National Science and Media Museum.
