Today, Rotolight adds fuel to the fire, making the world’s first SmartSoft™ Box available as an exclusive add-on to the available products and bundles within the campaign, along with fireworks with the Rotolight Universal Speedring and Bowens Mount Adapter Series.

SmartSoft™ Box – Now Available in Add-ons! 
Rotolight’s industry-first SmartSoft™ technology was first revealed in the flagship Rotolight Titan™ X2 and X1 lights and has been used on numerous feature films and by leading photographers around the world. The new SmartSoft Box, is the world’s first intelligent softbox, offering users the ability to focus and spread light without the need for gels or additional modifiers.

Like a 216 diffusion on an adjustable dial, SmartSoft™ provides the flexibility of a beautiful soft output and a harder light source all-in-one. For the first time, AEOS 2 users will be able to electronically and precisely adjust diffusion via the touchscreen display or new native iOS & Android Rotolight app. Available to purchase for the first time as an add-on within the Kickstarter campaign page.

The new Universal Speedring Adapter series from Rotolight unlock a limitless number of modifiers to achieve great soft light faster and simpler than ever before. See below for specific information on each new accessory.

Rotolight Bowens S Mount Adapter

• Compatible with Rotolight NEO 1/NEO 2/ NEO 3,  AEOS 1/ AEOS 2 
• The Rotolight Bowens adapter connects using an innovative fast-mount bracket to a standard Bowens S Mount, allowing movement forward and backwards on a rail and tightened inside your modifier
• With one small easy height adjustment, the same adapter can be used to mount the NEO & AEOS centrally in the modifier
• Continued access to adjust light settings on touchscreen or wirelessly control from the Rotolight App

Rotolight Universal Speedring Adapter

• Compatible with Rotolight NEO 1/NEO 2/NEO 3,  AEOS 1/AEOS 2 
• Connects to the umbrella/softbox side of standard speedrings including INTERFIT, PROFOTO RFI, PHOTTIX  and many more, placing the light inside your modifier
• Once connected, the lights can be adjusted backwards and forwards on a rail and tightened, fixing them in position, centrally in the modifier
• With one small easy height adjustment, the same adapter can be used to mount either the NEO 3 or AEOS 2
• Continued access to adjust light settings on touch screen or wirelessly control from the Rotolight App
• Additional Speedring compatible adapters to be confirmed

Rotolight Speedring Light Stand Adapter

• Compatible with Rotolight NEO 1/NEO 2/ NEO 3,  AEOS 1/ AEOS 2 
• Works well in combination with the Universal Speedring Adapter
• Eliminates the need to use Bowens S mount or other adaptors with users existing speedrings, and provides greater access to the back of the light for touchscreen adjustments
• Connects to the rear of standard Speedring adapters speedrings including INTERFIT, PROFOTO RFI, PHOTTIX and many more
• Light stand adapter provides a male 16mm baby stud or ¼ 20” mount to standard tripods, umbrella brackets or lighting stands
• Once connected, the lights can be adjusted backwards and forwards on a rail and tightened, fixing them in position
• With one small easy height adjustment, the same adapter can be used to mount the AEOS and AEOS2
• Continued access to adjust light settings on the touchscreen or wirelessly control from the Rotolight App
