Monochrome Photographer of the Year 2013

Larry Lourcey

Winner: Larry Lourcey

A beautiful Image which is evocative of the 1950s. Great tonal range and composition, the lines of the image bring you to the focal point

This image was created as part of a self-portrait project, Larry was visiting the Indianapolis Museum of Art and noticed this staircase rising out of the parking garage. He loved the look of it and decided to photograph himself running up the steps, the image that captured him just as he was disappearing from sight.
