The Societies’ Photographer of the Year 2016 – Judging Complete

The final judging of the year to find The Societies’ Photographer of the Year 2016 has now been competed.

The 26 category winners were chosen from all the Gold Awards and Highly Commended Upgrades from 2016. After this all the category winners were put forward to The Societies’ Photographer of the Year 2016 Award.

This year we have seen a bumper crop of images and the judges have assessed 10,468 images that have been entered in to the Monthly Image Competition.

The category winners and The Societies’ Photographer of the Year 2016 will be announced at the Awards Dinner during the 2017 London Photo Convention.

We would like to take this time to thank all the members that have submitted images over the course of the year and to all our judges who have given their time.

A big thanks also goes to Eizo for supplying a ColorEdge monitor, to make sure the images were assessed on a fully colour managed and high-quality screen.
