Superclasses

If you are looking for a more hands-on experience without having to fight the crowds, the Superclasses are for you. Limited to just 15 delegates, these informative and educational workshops will enhance your Convention experience.
Business School
Wednesday 15th January – Take your business to the next level – step by step! The Business School has created an amazing reputation and is an intrinsic part of the annual Convention. All delegates who attend leave with a wealth of information to plough straight back into their businesses. The theme of the Business School in 2025 is business development and growth – how to best manage your business, with creativity being the consistent thread that runs through the programme. The school will be hosted and steered by Gillian Devine, one the most motivational speakers and one who has a great reputation for designing and influencing some of the most successful businesses within our industry.
This highly-focused, power-packed business school has been designed to bring you successful professional photographers who have taken their business to the next level. They will share with you their thoughts and secrets of their business.

20×16″ Print Competition
Wednesday 15th – Thursday 16th January 2025
The 20×16” Print Competition judging takes place at the Convention, where delegates are invited to watch the judging process. Merited images will be displayed for visitors to view in the Convention Exhibition Area (dependent on space and amount of award-winning images).
Awards Presentation Evening
Friday 17 January 2025
Join us at the glittering Awards Night and celebrate the success of photographers from around the world. The 2024 Monthly Image Competition, 2025 20×16” Print competition and Trade Awards winners will be announced at a glamorous awards ceremony.
Qualifications at the Convention
Wednesday 15th – Thursday 16th January 2025
We are laying down the challenge to our valued members to gain Licentiateship, Associateship or Fellowship accreditation for their work at the 2025 Convention. The judging process is held in public, so photographers can watch the assessment process, this in itself is an invaluable learning process.
