Storytelling has arrived at the Society of Photographers London Photo Video Show & Convention!

And I'm delighted to be talking on that very topic!

➡️ You can catch me on 15 January 9am in the Business School - How to Use Storytelling to Market Your Photography Business

➡️ And again on 16 January 5pm - The Empathy Post: how to make sure it speaks DIRECTLY to your dream clients

The Societies put on a great show - a jam-packed week full of photography goodness - so if you're there, I'd love a coffee catch-up or if you'd like to chat storytelling - come and find me!

🎟 Have you got your ticket yet?

See you there!

I know, we haven't even had Halloween or Christmas yet, but these places get booked up and it's always good to have a new years plan.

I am hosting 2 Masterclasses at the Society of Photographers convention.

They are:

Food Photography Secrets to help you attract the hospitality sector and prepare for cookbook commissions.

16th January 2025

All the tickets are arranged through The Society of Photographers so go and check out what is on offer and get planning.

If you are coming along, let me know I always love to meet other photographers in person 😊

The Society of Photographers is pleased to announce a new full-day seminar on photographic lighting.

Take your first step towards mastering studio lighting in this beginner-friendly course, taught by industry expert Gary Hill.

This workshop is designed for photographers who are new to studio setups, offering a comprehensive introduction to essential lighting techniques. You'll dive into the basics of lighting equipment, learn to understand light direction, and discover how to work with modifiers like softboxes and reflectors. The course will show you how to craft flattering portraits by using a combination of natural and artificial light sources.

By the end of this session, you'll have the confidence to set up and control your own studio lighting for various types of shoots—from family portraits to professional headshots.

This seminar is limited on space, so booking early is advised to ensure your place.
